So Consulting was created by Sandra Ouaiss in November 2011. Its
mission is to advise Channels , Operators and Producers.
Sandra Ouaiss spent nine years at Canal+ Group as Director of Fiction
Acquisition for Canal+ from 2002 to 2009. During these years, she has
considerably developed an address book of key TV players in the
International Production & Distribution business. Further, she is reputed to
have a keen eye for selected major hit series, proven by her track record
in brining Desperate Housewives, Dexter, Rome, Madmen, Weeds, and
more, to the French market.
In 2009, appointed Director of Programs and Channels Relationships at
Canal+Overseas (the international subsidiary of Canal+) she designed and
managed the content budget. Here, she not only strengthened
relationships with broadcasters (TF1, M6, Lagardère, Disney, among
others), she also held production responsibilities that placed here in
charge of launching local show for Canal+ Africa and Overseas territories.
Before arriving at Canal+, she spent five years at Universal Channels in
France, where as Director of Acquisitions and Programming, she defined
the programming strategy and organization of the program grid, as well
as designed the acquisition strategy, while managing the allocated
budgets for rights and coproduction and supervisising the team. |

Working closely with the agency Mediaphil (www.mediaphil.fr), under the direction of Philippe Di Nacera, a former Director at France 24, So CONSULTING focuses on publishing projects and supporting African operators for the group.
